Non-functionalized Silica

SiO₂ with natural hydroxyl or silanol (SiOH) surface groups for adsorption of nucleotides with low protein binding. Non-functionalized silica microspheres are available in four standard volumes: 0.5g, 1.0g, 1.5g, and 5.0g.

Carboxyl Silica

SiO₂ with carboxyl (COOH) surface groups for the covalent attachment of biomolecules. Carboxyl silica microspheres are sold in 1.0g volumes. Available dry, they are available in four nominal mean diameters: ~0.5µm, ~1.0µm, ~2.0µm, and ~5.0µm.

Amine Silica

SiO₂ with amine (NH₂) surface groups for the covalent attachment of biomolecules. Amine silica microspheres are sold in 1.0g volumes. Available dry, they are available in three nominal mean diameters: ~0.5µm, ~1.0µm, and ~5.0µm.

Streptavidin-coated Silica

SiO₂ with streptavidin surface groups for the attachment of biomolecules. Silica streptavidin microspheres are sold in four standard volumes: 1mL, 2mL, 5mL, and 10mL. Available at 1% solids, in three nominal mean diameters: ~0.5µm, ~1.0µm, and ~5.0µm.

Silica Bind-IT™

Silica Bind-IT are pure SiO₂ microspheres with a pre-activated surface that allows ready binding of antibody without sacrificing stability. Silica Bind-IT microspheres are sold in three standard volumes: 2mL, 5mL, and 10mL. Available at 2.5% solids, in two nominal mean diameters: ~1.0µm and ~5.0µm.
